Connecting a custom domain with ManageCV is super easy. Follow the below-mentioned steps to connect a custom domain with your ManageCV website:

  1. Login to the ManageCV dashboard first.
  2. Click on Domains and URLs
  3. Click on Custom Domain
  4. Read the instructions mentioned in the ManageCV dashboard. You have to add a CNAME record in your custom domain from your domain registrar panel.
  5. Login to your domain name registrar portal.
  6. Select domain name.
  7. Click on DNS configuration
  8. Click on add a CNAME record
  9. Select CNAME, Host @, Value ManageCV.com, TTL leave it to its default value. Sometimes it takes more time to connect domain names.
  10. Click on the Request Custom Domain Name button in the upper right corner.
  11. Enter the domain name in the given field. Please do not include HTTP:// or HTTPS://. If your domain name is pushap.in, add pushap.in not https://pushap.in
  12. Click on the send request button.

Add CNAME records (take data from the below table) in your custom domain from your domain registrar panel:

Once you do all the things, everything is done from your side. Now our team will check your domain request status and after reviewing your domain name, your custom domain will be connected to your ManageCV website.

Alternative solution (Using Cloudflare)

If you are unable to add a CNAME record with your current domain name registrar, follow the steps described below:

  1. Sign up for a free Cloudflare Account
  2. Verify your email address and login into your Cloudflare Account
  3. Click on add a site button
  4. Enter your domain name and click on add site button
  5. You will be redirected to select a plan page. Scroll down and click on the Free $0 plan, and click on the continue button
  6. Review DNS records, and complete the setup.
  7. Once you complete the setup, you will be able to see nameserver details. Copy the nameservers and go to the domain name registrar to update the nameservers.

This process may take some time. Cloudflare will send you a mail once your domain name is connected with Cloudflare. Once connected, log in to your Cloudflare dashboard and follow the above-shared instructions.
